Did you know for example that each week Lidl in Charlton Kings provides us with fresh fruit and veg to supplement the food parcels? Or that the team at CoreTech Security arrive every week come rain or shine with a box of food items that they have collected. Or that The Artisan Baker, La Boulangerie and Le Champignon Sauvage supply us with the most fantastic bread and pastry products – every single week.
For Foodbank clients these donations are not only essential for physical sustenance, they also lift people’s spirits, provide a little bit of hope and help them build strength to tackle their challenges.
