Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Current opportunities:

We are currently looking for:

Drivers: for a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon (for about 60/90 mins sometime between 12-3pm, can be flexible) to drop off deliveries / pick up collections

Helpers: to help get the client sessions set up on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning.  From 0930 for 60/90 mins.   This would involve carrying food parcels, setting up tables / chairs, sorting out fruit and veg and quite a few trips up and down stairs to get everything in the right place!

If you are interested in either of the above roles, please call us on 01242 570080 or email us [email protected]
