Where has the Summer gone??!

Gosh – it has been a busy few months, time has flown by and I hope this finds you well.

We had a very successful 3 days collecting donations from Tesco customers in July – a big thanks to Tesco’s for accommodating us, to the Volunteers for their hard work and to the customers for the fabulous donations.  These supermarket collections make a big difference and we are always delighted to chat with customers about what the Foodbank does.

The school holidays seem to be a difficult time for many families and that is certainly reflected in that we have had very busy sessions at the Foodbank over the last month with a lot of people in need.  We really hope that things ease for people with the children going back to school very soon.   Take care…..
